How to increase the Stud Multiplier in Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight
The Stud Multiplier in Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight is a recurring gameplay feature from previous Lego games, where players could multiply the studs they collect by playing the game well. In fact, certain cheats could allow for a x10 stud multiplier, though I'm sorry to say that nothing in Lego Batman Legacy will let you get quite that high. I'll explain how the stud multiplier system works below, and the maximum boost that you can get.
How to get max stud multiplier in Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight
When you collect studs in Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight, they increase your Stud Multiplier (as shown in the top right). Collect enough of them in one go, and they'll increase it to x2, doubling all the studs you pick up! If you stop collecting them, the multiplier drops back down and resets.
You can increase the stud multiplier to a maximum of x4, by getting certain Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight skills. The Exploration skill tree has two skills called "Hyper Combo", each of which increases the maximum stud multiplier by 1 (one at tier 1 skills, one at tier 4).

Sadly, unlike in previous Lego games, there are no Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight cheats that will allow you to increase your stud multiplier. The same goes for Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight Red Bricks, which only add visual cosmetic modifiers, not gameplay ones.
