How to hack a Bio-Booster in Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core

The list of upgrades in Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core is huge, and you can hack Bio-Boosters to add class modifiers. The first opportunity to hack one will appear pretty early, and it might be slightly confusing.

However, I am here to turn you into a master hacker who can get access to all terminals and what they have to offer.

How to hack in Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core

You’ll come across Bio-Boosters randomly on the map, and some of them will give you a chance to hack. Whenever you attempt a hack, you have a limited window. Failing to complete the process in that period will force you to restart. That might not always be something wonderful, and more so if enemies surround you.

If you refer to the image above, you’ll find two threads – one in blue and one in red.

• First, click the mouse when the correct node is highlighted. The correct nodes will be the ones that connect the two ends of the blue wire.
• Once you do so for both nodes, a secondary node will be highlighted on the wire. You’ll have to press the mouse when the cursor is on the highlighted point.

Next, you have to do the same with the red wire. First, press the mouse when the two end nodes are highlighted. Then, click the mouse once more when a spot on the wire is highlighted.

Do so at the correct spot, and the hack will be complete. Next, you can pick a class modifier of your liking. As of writing, I haven’t found anything else from these terminals (apart from modifiers).

Ideally, always attempt to hack a Bio-Booster only when there are no enemies around. That way, you won’t lose health or die in the process of trying to improve your arsenal.
