How to find Treasure Hunt event clues in Disney Dreamlight Valley

There are two ways you can find Treasure Trove clues in DDV’s Treasure Hunt event:

• Find and dig up gold treasure cracks. One spawns in the valley each day, and you must scour the entire region to find it. Once you’ve located it, use your Royal Shovel to dig it up. You’ll then obtain a Treasure Trove clue to solve.
• Find and fish out of red and gold fishing spots. You can find one of these special ripple spots in a random body of water around the valley each day. Fish out of it using your Royal Fishing Rod to obtain a Treasure Trove clue.

These two key activities are the only ways to get your hands on the Treasure Trove clues. You need to solve quite a lot of them if you want to obtain all Treasure Hunt event rewards, so be sure to focus on completing these tasks frequently so you don’t miss out.

How many Treasure Trove clues are there in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

There are seven Treasure Trove clues you may encounter while exploring the valley and completing Treasure Hunt event tasks. Each one refers to a biome within the main valley, with all regions being a possible solution except for the Plaza. Here are all of the clues.

• “Stumped? Dig around the forest.”
• “Don’t forget to put out the fires.”
• “Pickaxe meets rock somewhere peaceful.”
• “Under a pile of bone in a sunlit place.”
• “Tip some purple caps somewhere swampy.”
• “Beneath coral growth with a dazzling view.”
• “Getting warmer…break the ice somewhere frosted.”

How to solve Treasure Trove clues in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To solve the Treasure Trove clues, you must navigate to the correct biome hinted at in the clue and break the obstacles native to that area until you find a Treasure Hunt event chest. These chests can be green or gold, depending on which task you completed to obtain the clue.

Some event riddles are fairly straightforward, while others may take you a bit of time to figure out. For example, one of the toughest ones is “Don’t forget to put out the fires,” as this one doesn’t directly provide any hints for the correct biome. The fires mentioned here are native to the Forgotten Lands, though, so this is the right spot to visit.
