How to find the Rapier of Thousand Cuts in Windrose

In the demo, obtaining the Rapier of Thousand Cuts was relatively straightforward, as it was a guaranteed drop. That has now changed. So, how do you get it? Your best shot is the Traveler's Camps. There are several of these camps located all around the islands (the exact locations will vary across saves and players).

Each of these camps has two treasure chests to find. The second one is the more difficult one to reveal, and here's our guide on how to find it. If you're lucky, you could end up finding the weapon in the chests. If not, you can try the same method with the treasure chests that are found at the camps belonging to Hands or Blackbeard. Ultimately, it's a matter of luck in the current build of the game.

Rapier of Thousand Cuts special ability in Windrose

The one-handed weapon has great all-around stats, but it excels in dealing bleed damage. The bleed damage can stack up to five times (the damage will be most serious at max stacks). What makes the weapon truly special are the special ability.

The Rapier of Thousand Cuts deals 25 damage per second when it inflicts Bleeding on the enemy. However, it can get a second special ability when you ascend it. All the Bleed damage dealt with the weapon will restore Temporal Health.

While the Rapier of Thousand Cuts can be effective against any enemy, I love to use it as a boss killer. Since it's a precision-based weapon, facing multiple enemies simultaneously isn't very conducive (compared to facing single bosses).
