Lucifer Rotsac is one of the most important resources in Subnautica 2, and we will need it to craft Rubber. Rubber itself is an important item required in many recipes. This guide will help you figure out the best way to find Lucifer Rotsac.

How to get Lucifer Rotsac in Subnautica 2

To find Lucifer Rotsac, you'll first need to take your lifepod to the surface of the ocean by releasing the clamps. Then, dive and get the resources required to make your Multitool. You can craft the Multitool using Titanium, which is freely available in different caves.

Incidentally, we don't need the Multitool to get Lucifer Rotsac. However, the item started appearing for me only after I crafted the Multitool (this could have been a mere coincidence). Dive to the seabed, and look for the plant shown in the image below.

The plants don't have a specific name, and you can cut them with the Multitool to get their pulp. However, you can also interact with them to pick up the spherical egg-like item that rests on it. This is the Lucifer Rotsac that will help us get Rubber.

How to make Rubber in Subnautica 2

Head back to your lifepod once you've obtained at least two Lucifer Rotsac. Open the Fabricator, and you'll be able to craft Rubber using the resource that you obtained. You can get more Lucifer Rotsack from the seabed in regions near your lifepod. They seem to be pretty easily available, so try to farm them as much as possible.
