It’s not that a reminder was needed, but Jack White yet again proved why he’s one of rock’s best live acts with his surprise Coachella set during weekend one (where he even donned his own co-designed pair of boots). He’s following that appearance with an extensive tour through Europe and the U.S. this year, with the first North American dates kicking off in July at the Anthem in Washington, D.C.

The tour, simply billed as Jack White Live, is not pegged to a specific album, with his last release being 2024’s No Name. White has also been making the late-night rounds ahead of the tour, including appearing on Saturday Night Live and The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. He used the latter appearance to promote his book, Collected Lyrics and Selected Writing.

He debuted new music ahead of the tour, releasing the tracks “G.O.D. and the Broken Ribs” and “Derecho Demonico.” He performed both as the musical guest on SNL. In addition to his solo tour, White will have stops at music festivals this year, including several in Europe and Borderland Festival in East Aurora, New York.
