The project is titled “The Passion According to Carmen” (“La Pasión según Carmen”).

The forthcoming film is described as a “coming-of-age story of an adult woman.” It centers on Carmen, a journalist whose life, at first glance, appears happy and stable. She is portrayed as having close friends, a comfortable existence, and is married to Nico, with whom she has a 20-year-old daughter. Despite these outward signs of contentment, Carmen is grappling with profound grief following the death of her grandmother and best friend, Mar, a loss that leaves her deeply bereft.
