Final Fantasy 11’s Player Count Is Exceeding Expectations

When Final Fantasy 11 came together this past year with Final Fantasy 14, forging at last what long felt like an inevitable link between Square's older MMO and its newer one, the team on 11's side of the aisle figured a temporary popularity boost would be all they'd receive. Instead, there appears to have been a very real, very permanent, shift in 11's numbers. For the better.
