Every third apartment building in Zaporizhzhia damaged by shelling – city authorities
This was reported on Telegram by Zaporizhzhia City Council Secretary Regina Kharchenko, according to Ukrinform.
“Zaporizhzhia has nearly 4,500 apartment buildings, of which 1,405 have already been damaged by shelling. In other words, nearly every third building has been affected. More than 350 buildings have been damaged twice, over 100 have been hit three times, and some have sustained up to 10 strikes. In addition, more than 3,000 private homes have been destroyed,” the statement reads.
As of now, 11 apartment buildings have already been restored, with two more in the final stages of completion. Additionally, work is ongoing on 21 buildings, including active construction, preparation, or design phases.
