ShareEuropean leaders meeting in Cyprus have pledged to step up efforts to help resolve conflicts in the Middle East, as the United States continues to criticize Europe for what it sees as insufficient support in countering Iran, with the EU largely remaining on the sidelines, while French President Emmanuel Macron stressed that restoring stability quickly is in everyone’s interest and key to reassuring global economies, ahead of talks with regional partners from Egypt, Lebanon and Syria and remarks from EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas.
