The information was reported by the BBC Russian service, citing the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Krai region.
Authorities said the fire affected several technical and administrative buildings, and fragments of drones fell on the territory of a fuel terminal.
Regional officials also claimed that two men were injured while outside at the time of the debris impact and were hospitalized.
OSINT analysis by Astra indicated that a fire is burning at the Grushova Balka oil depot in Novorossiysk. Video footage from witnesses was reportedly taken from a distance of about 11–11.5 km from the storage facility.
Earlier, Astra analysts also suggested that a fire likely broke out at the Sheskharis oil terminal after the attack.
Sheskharis oil terminal is the largest oil-loading terminal in southern Russia and is part of Transneft infrastructure. It handles the reception, storage, and shipment of oil and petroleum products onto tankers and serves as a key export point for pipelines in the region.
