Donald Trump Jr. tied the knot in an intimate ceremony over the weekend, but his father was not among the guests.

Trump Jr. officially married Palm Beach socialite Bettina Anderson on Thursday at the home of Anderson’s twin sister, Kristina, in West Palm Beach, according to a Florida marriage license obtained.

But the wedding ceremony was held on a private island in the Bahamas on Saturday, with his siblings Ivanka, Eric and Tiffany Trump all in attendance.

A source told People that the celebration took place on a “glorious day in a place where they often visit” and was attended by around 40 guests.

Trump Jr. and Anderson reportedly want to hold a third celebration at the White House, which would be attended by President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump.

The president confirmed on Truth Social that “circumstances pertaining to Government,” and his “love for the United States of America,” prevented him from attending the ceremony in the Bahamas.

Previously, he told reporters: “You know, this is not good timing for me. I have a thing called Iran and other things.”

Although Anderson has kept many of the details around the wedding under wraps, she did share a black-and-white image of her and her now-husband’s hands.

The image, which was initially shared on her Instagram story, showed them sporting plain bands on their wedding fingers and was captioned “Forever yours, Forever mine.”

Christine Schott, a source familiar with the couple, told The New York Times that Anderson had texted her to say that reports of her keeping her name are false. Anderson plans to take the Trump name, according to Schott.

Anderson was previously celebrated in a bridal shower at President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate on April 12. Ivanka and Tiffany Trump, as well as the president’s ex-wife Marla Maples, were in attendance.

“The shower was gorgeous,” the source told People. “The event was held mostly inside and was lovely, but there were guests hanging outside some of the time.”

The president first announced his son’s engagement to Anderson during a White House event in December 2025, according to a video shared by Laura Loomer on X.

“It’s not often that I’m at a loss for words, because we usually do the ranting and raving really well, but this is a little different.” Trump Jr. said in the video.

Trump Jr. added that he wanted to “thank Bettina for that one word: ‘Yes.’”

Trump Jr. was previously married to Vanessa Trump, with whom he shares five children. In a subsequent relationship, Trump Jr. was engaged to California Governor Gavin Newsom’s ex-wife Kimberly Guilfoyle.

Speculation about Anderson and Trump Jr.’s romance was sparked in September 2024, when the pair were spotted kissing in Palm Beach. At the time, Trump Jr. had not publicly called off his engagement to Guilfoyle.

In December that same year, Trump Jr. told Page Six that he and Guilfoyle “will always keep a special bond.”
