Directive 8020 Diazepam chemicals walkthrough
During this puzzle, Anders asks Cooper to make some Diazepam in Directive 8020. While you don't now why yet, she's definitely going to drug someone - after all, suspicions are high throughout the crew at this point. While the game directs you to the chemical formula to make the drug, it doesn't tell you what they are.
It's up to you to know (or find out) which are the three chemical names relating to the formulas, as you'll need to pick them out of the storage container holding nine different chemicals. When you know, you'll need to enter a three-digit code by interacting with the cabinet. These three digits are the three numbers associated to the three chemicals, entered in the sequence shown on the Directive 8020 Diazepam synthesis poster. If you're still a little lost, follow my walkthrough below.
All Directive 8020 Diazepam chemicals
At the first screen you're directed towards, you'll be shown the three chemical compound formulae that make up Diazepam. Luckily, if you aren't a chemistry whiz, the names of these compounds can be found around the room.
Latest Videos FromThe chemical names are found on three separate posters. To make things easier, though, I've listed them below, and you can see them in the image above.
- Chloroacetyl Chloride
- Ammonia
- Dimethyl Sulphate
Because I'm nice, this list also shows the three chemicals in the correct order, so how do you combine them?
How to combine the Diazepam chemicals
Back at the storage cabinet, you'll be given a prompt to combine the chemicals, which actually opens a Directive 8020 key code screen. This number is only three-digits long, relating to the numbers of the three chemicals listed above.
In the cabinet, these chemicals are associated with the following numbers:
Sign up to the GamesRadar+ Newsletter- Chloroacetyl Chloride: 1
- Ammonia: 6
- Dimethyl Sulphate: 8
- Diazepam key code: 168
Now simply enter these numbers, in this order, into the key code screen. The Diazepam will be automatically produced, and you'll be able to return to Anders to see what she's up to.
Though you're already playing the game, why not check out our Directive 8020 review to see what Jasmine thought of the horror game?
