How to preload Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred

To ensure players are ready to get started when that global release time hits, you can preload Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred right now. The pre-download went live on April 23, so all you need to do is launch the base game on Battle.net, PlayStation, or Xbox and the 3.0.0 patch should automatically download in the background. Note that preloading the 3.0.0 patch is available to everyone, including those who haven't purchased the Lord of Hatred expansion, as it contains other key updates for the game.
