Despite almost 4 years of slow progress, Netflix is "100%" behind Gears of War movie, director says

The film was announced on November 6, 2022 as a collaboration between Netflix and The Coalition. In 2023, John Spaihts was confirmed as the screenwriter, and, in 2025, David Leitch was revealed as the director. Apart from that, though, there has been no other movement.
