Grain and oilseed futures rose ahead of a key US government supply-and-demand report and a summit between President Donald Trump and Xi Jinping, who leads the world’s biggest importer of soybeans.

The US Department of Agriculture is set to deliver its first outlook for the 2026-27 growing season Tuesday in the closely watched WASDE report. That will be followed Wednesday by the Trump-Xi meeting in Beijing, where discussions are expected to focus on everything from trade to the Iran war.
