It's never long before a popular game gets some raunchy mods from the community, if only for puerile laughs. Crimson Desert is no exception, and there are indeed several modifications that allow you to see main character Kliff in the nude, or to upscale his features to make him even more buff and defined. Should you partake in such deviancy, one of the performers behind the protagonist gives his blessing, as long as nobody's getting hurt.

During a Reddit AMA, Trevor McEwan, the mocap actor for Kliff, responds to a question over how he feels about sexy mods being created for Crimson Desert's hero. "Hilarious," he starts. "As long as players are having fun and enjoying the game to the fullest, I don't mind at all."

A fair perspective, and it's nice that he chooses to laugh at people wanting, ahem, to see more of Kliff that way. Really, it's a good sign for the game's fandom and longevity. Just look at Leon Kennedy in Resident Evil.

Sure, those games are popular, and he's well-liked in tow, but his position as the community's internet boyfriend definitely helped Resident Evil Requiem out and pushed the game further into the zeitgeist. Crimson Desert is in the limelight now, and this kind of fervor will at least make sure players are always ready for more.

They'll be thirsty, in other words, with a desire that cannot be quenched by conventional means alone. But that's always been why modders are around to begin with.
