Cannes Film Festival has announced more additions to its lineup, including Zachary Wigon’s horror film “Victorian Psycho” starring Maika Monroe, and Judith Godrèche’s feature debut “A Girl’s Story” for its Un Certain Regard section.

“Victorian Psycho” stars scream queen Monroe as Winifred Notty, an “eccentric young governess who arrives at the remote gothic manor known as Ensor House,” according to the film’s synopsis. “As Winifred assimilates into life at Ensor House, staff members begin to inexplicably disappear, and the owners of the estate begin to wonder if there is something amiss about their new governess.” The cast is rounded out by Thomasin McKenzie, Jason Isaacs, Amy De Bruhn and “Hamnet” breakout Jacobi Jupe. The film is produced by Dan Kagan (“Longlegs”) under his Traffic banner as well as Sebastien Raybaud (“Greenland: Migration”) for Anton and Wigon, in association with Anonymous Content.
