Cannes Critics’ Week Title ‘Six Months In A Pink & Blue Building’ Secures French Distributor
EXCLUSIVE: Epicentre Films has acquired French rights to Mexican director Bruno Santamaría Razo’s Six months in a Pink and Blue Building ahead of its world premiere in Cannes Critics’ Week.
The deal was secured by Paris-based Luxbox which is handling international sales.
Set in Mexico City in the early 90s, the film follows the young protagonist Bruno.
As he turns 11, his growing feelings for his best friend Vladimir clash with the sudden announcement that his father has HIV. Like in salsa songs, his family tries to sing and dance their pain away. Thirty years later, Bruno films and reimagines the memory of what he could not quite perceive as a child.
