This is an extremely strange evolution if you check the stat caps. For starters, you can only use CB items with Pace 89 or lower. This does create some hindrances, as we have CB cards with Pace 90 or higher. The first playstyle+ (Bruiser) is meta, but the second one (Precision Header) is pretty poor. The evolution also doesn't provide three playstyle+, which is the current standard.

While the evolution is useful to some extent, it could have been far better than what it is.
