Authorities announce mandatory evacuation from parts of Nikopol district
According to Ukrinform, Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration head Oleksandr Hanzha reported this on Telegram.
"We have announced a mandatory evacuation from certain territories of the Nikopol area. I have signed the relevant orders," Hanzha said.
According to him, 28 families with children must leave the settlements of Novokyivka and Illinka in the Marhanets urban community, as well as Vyshchetarasivka in the Myrove rural community. A total of 34 children currently live there.
Read also: Fifteen civilians evacuated from Beryslav in Kherson regionAll residents are also required to leave one street in Marhanets and nearly 100 streets in Nikopol. In total, 1,145 people are subject to evacuation.
The head of the regional administration stated that all evacuees must leave within one month. The timing and routes of evacuation will be coordinated individually with each family.
Families will be able to relocate either to safer settlements within Nikopol district, other districts of the region, or even other regions of Ukraine.
As Ukrinform previously reported, 34 children still remain in areas near Sloviansk in Donetsk region where forced evacuation of families with children is underway.
