John Ternus officially starts as Apple CEO on September 1, 2026, just ahead of the company’s biggest product launch event of the year. Here are the 10+ new Apple products rumored to be the first launched under Ternus as CEO.
iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone Ultra, and more
Apple’s flagship iPhone 18 event will happen just days after Ternus takes over as CEO, and it’s expected to bring some exciting new models:
The most popular will no doubt be iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, but all eyes will be on the iPhone Ultra as Apple’s first foldable. Ternus will get to kick off his CEO era with arguably Apple’s most radically unique iPhone yet.
Apple Watch Ultra 4 and Apple Watch Series 12
At that same September event, Apple is rumored to have two new Apple Watch models coming:
Neither model is expected to offer especially radical upgrades, but Apple could always surprise us. We’ll likely see new health sensors introduced, perhaps new S-class chips, and other improvements.
New AirPods Pro with AI
AirPods Pro 3 just arrived last year, and Apple has historically waited three years between hardware upgrades. But rumors indicate new AirPods Pro are coming this year, with the iPhone event the most likely launch date.
This next generation of AirPods Pro is expected to largely be similar to AirPods Pro 3, and won’t replace last year’s model. Instead, it will arrive as a new high-end model.
The tentpole new feature is the addition of infrared cameras that will enable Apple Intelligence features. IR cameras, combined with Apple’s overhauled Siri, will turn AirPods into an AI device with new visual intelligence capabilities.
Expanded Apple Home lineup
Apple has long been rumored to be planning an expansion of Apple Home products, but delays to Siri have reportedly pushed back several products.

Siri’s massive AI revamp will launch in iOS 27, so it’s very possible the new Home products will debut in September too—that’s what the latest rumors say. However, if Apple wants to space out its new products, we may see the Home products arrive in October instead.
