Amazon's upcoming live-action Voltron movie starring Henry Cavill will not get a theatrical run
Unfortunately, it looks like the upcoming Voltron live-action remake starring Henry Cavill will not see the big screen, as Amazon confirms the movie will go straight to streaming.
Amazon MGM Studios broke the news during its slate presentation at Amazon Upfront (H/T Discussing Film), confirming that the Voltron movie will skip a theatrical release and debut straight on streaming, either on Prime Video or add-on channel MGM+. The movie is set to adapt the 1984 animated series, Voltron: Defender of the Universe.
Latest Videos FromThe Voltron movie, directed by Red Notice’s Rawson Marshall Thurber, will follow a group of pilots who command five robot lions that fit together to create super robot Voltron.
