LEGO Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight has plenty of gadget upgrades available for all key characters, starting with the Caped Crusader himself, and you can benefit from what they offer. You have to spend WayneTech Chips to enable these upgrades, and they will dramatically improve the signature gadgets.

Batman gadget upgrades
The Dark Knight has 16 different gadget upgrades available, making it the most in the game.
