All new abilities and Aspects in Destiny 2: Shadow and Order

The final major update for Destiny 2, aka Shadow and Order, will release worldwide on June 9, and Bungie has already announced new Aspects for all existing classes. Moreover, we will also get new abilities, and some of the existing ones will be modified.

Let’s find out what we can expect in terms of abilities and aspects when it comes to Destiny 2’s final content update.

All new Aspects in Destiny 2: Shadow and Order

The information in this guide is based on Bungie and what they shared upon the announcement of Shadow and Order. I am sure that we will have more information in the days to come. However, here’s what we have on our hands for now.

• The Solar Hunter class will get the Crackshot Aspect.
• The Void Warlock class will get the Soul Siphon Aspect.
• The Solar Titan class will get the Shieldburst Aspect.

As of writing, more information is awaited for all new Aspects.

All abilities in Destiny 2: Shadow and Order

The Shadow and Order update will have new abilities for all classes.

• The Void Hunter class will have a new melee ability in Phantom Surge.
• All classes will have two new grenades in the form of the Strand Slicewire Grenade and Stasis Shatter Grenade.

As I mentioned, several old abilities will change from how they worked previously.

• Mindspun will interact with Threadling Grenade.
• Ward of Dawn will have a complete rework.
• Trapper’s Ambush will have new capabilities.

Additionally, all Exotic armors earned since The Edge of Fate will automatically upgrade to Tier 5 stats. Certain Exotic armors will also change from how they used to work. However, we will need to wait until June 9 to find out more. I also expect Bungie to share more details as we get closer to the date.
