Air Defense Forces shot down 92 of the 102 drones used by Russian invaders to attack Ukraine since the evening of May 6.

According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram.

According to the military, starting at 7:00 p.m. on May 6, the Russians launched 102 combat UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas types, as well as Parody decoy drones, from the following directions: Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), as well as the temporarily occupied Donetsk and Hvardiiske in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 8:00 a.m. on May 7, Air Defense Forces shot down or neutralized 92 drones in northern and eastern Ukraine.

Hits by eight attack UAVs were recorded at six locations, and downed debris was found at four locations.

The attack is ongoing, with several enemy drones in the airspace.

As reported by Ukrinform, since the evening of May 6, the Russians have attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region nearly 30 times with drones and shelled it with artillery. Four people were wounded.
