ADF neutralizes 154 out of 171 Russian drones overnight

According to Ukrinform, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Telegram.

Since 18:00 on Tuesday, April 28, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 171 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types and other drones launched from directions including Kursk, Oryol, Shatalovo, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), as well as temporarily occupied Donetsk, Hvardiiske, and Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea). About 120 of them were Shahed-type drones.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare (EW) units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's Defense Forces.

As of 08:00 on Wednesday, April 29, preliminary data indicates that air defense shot down or suppressed 154 enemy drones in the north, south, and east of the country.

Hits from 12 strike UAVs were recorded at 10 locations, and debris from downed drones fell at 12 locations.

The attack is still ongoing, with several enemy UAVs remaining in the airspace.

As previously Ukrinform reported, Ukrainian troops have identified a weak point in Russia's air defense system and are successfully exploiting it.
